Before you get here
There is no need to make an appointment. Just show up during business hours, and we'll make sure you'll be unloaded in an appropriate amount of time.
What we can't buy
We cannot accept the following items due to safety and environmental standards
- Asbestos
- Hazardous scrap (any metal that has been contaminated with dangerous substances, ie. biohazardous waste)
- Paint
- Pressurized tanks
- Propane tanks with valves intact
- Radioactive waste
- Sealed containers
- Transformers and capacitors must be certified free of PCBs and any other residue
Ferrous Metal Instructions
Pull onto our scale at the front of the yard and wait for the green light. Once you see that, drive off the scale and head back into the pile. In the pile, someone in our machinery will unload you're truck and trailer, and let you know when you can make your way back to the scale. Finally, cross the scale once more to be weighed out, wait for the green light and make your way into the office to get your hard earned money.
Non-Ferrous Metal Instructions
For non-ferrous metals, feel free to drive around the big scale and make your way to the shop attached to the office. The staff in the shop will be happy to unload your vehicle and weigh your metal for you. Once all you material is weighed, come into the office and we can get you on your way with a little bit more money in your pocket.
